Dan Hannebery, Josh Kennedy and Luke Parker can finish season 2015 as the AFL Players Association Most Valuable Player.

Voted by teammates as the three most valuable players at the Swans, the trio will contest the prestigious award with three players from each of the 17 opposition clubs.

Hannebery, averaging more than 30 disposals for the first time in his distinguished career, lead the competition for possessions after the home and away season.

The MVP Award would go nicely with the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award won earlier this week, while the ...-year-old is among the favourites to win this year's Brownlow Medal.

Kennedy, who leads the competition for clearances, has been one of the most consistent players this season solidified by a run of 10 consecutive weeks of 30+ possessions topped off by a 31-disposal performance against Gold Coast in Round 23.

Parker was equally superb before breaking his leg in Round 20, averaging 25 possessions (12 contested) and five tackles while proving his worth up forward with the reigning Bob Skilton Medallist booting 18 goals.

After the first-round of voting, involving every AFL player to choose his three most valuable teammates, voting enters a second phase in which every player votes 3-2-1 on who they consider (from the selected squad) the 2015 MVP.

Players are forbidden from voting for teammates.

The Most Valuable Player will be crowned at the AFL Players' MVP Awards on Tuesday, September 15. The event will be broadcast live on Fox Footy.
