The Swans recorded a third-straight win and will head into next weekend's bye in second position on the NEAFL ladder after comfortably accounting for Eastlake on Saturday.
The 65-point triumph could have been a lot more with the Swans lamenting poor kicking in front of goal - 14.17 (101) to 5.6 (36) - at Canberra's StarTrack Oval.
In a tale of two halves according to coach Marty Mattner, Eastlake challenged the Swans in the opening two quarters before the visitors switched into gear with an eight-goal-to-two second half.
"Eastlake played well in the first half - their pressure and ball use was really impressive," Mattner said.
"After half-time we started playing how we wanted to play, the effort was certainly there but we just couldn't finish off our hard work and didn't kick straight at all."
Craig Bird, in another standout performance collected 31 disposals and kicked three goals while the bulk of the scoring - when the Swans did kick truly - was shared between Abe Davis, Dean Towers, Sean McLaren and Brandon Jack who finished with two goals apiece.
Bird was rewarded with best-on-ground honours while Towers, Jordan Foote, Harry Marsh, George Hewett and Xavier Richards also stood out.
"Xavier, along with Aliir Aliir and Nic Newman (33 possessions) took a lot of intercept marks and were really solid for us in defence," Mattner said.
