“I JUST want to say a very big thanks to all of our supporters for their kind wishes over the past 10 days, since I was injured in the game against Fremantle.
The West Australian Swans fans were fantastic. I had to stay in hospital in Perth, and they brought me presents and cards signed by so many of our supporters there. It really cheered me up when I was so far from home.
I flew back to Sydney last Friday and there were cards and messages here at the Club from the Cheer Squad and supporters, so I want to thank those people too.
My team-mates and people here at the Club have all been great. I’m very happy to be part of a great Club - one that is so supportive and caring during a tough time.
My fractured cheekbone is recovering well after the surgery. I’m in good spirits and looking forward to watching the boys continue their good form.
I’ll start running on Friday and be back training next week with the group.
Thanks again to everyone.
