3. The competition is open to residents of Australia aged 16 years or over except employees of Sydney Swans Limited and Haier (Fisher & Paykel Australia Pty Limited (ABN 71 000 042 080)) our major prize supplier, and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

5. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

6. All submissions must have consent from those individuals in the photo or consents from the parents/guardian should the subject be under 18 years of age.

8. All entrants may enter as many times as they like but only one prize will be awarded per person.

9. The competition commences Thursday 23 July 2020, and the closing date for entry will be Friday 31 July 2020. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

10. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received.

11. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
- The Competition may be entered by uploading a photograph in the comments section to the competition post.
- Entries must be submitted via the internet at www.facebook.com/sydneyswans
- Each entry must be unique and received by the Promoter prior to the competition close date and time.

12. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.  These include in the event of a catastrophe, civil disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Entrants will be notified of any changes to the competition as soon as possible by the promoter.

13. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

14. The prize is as follows:

- The total prize value is RRP $1,598 inc GST. Note the total prize value is based on the combined recommended retail value of the prize as at 20 July 2020.

15. The competition winner will be chosen by an independent adjudicator or panel of judges appointed by the Promoter.

16. The winner will be notified by DM on Facebook within 7 days of the closing date. The winning entry and winner’s name will be displayed on sydneyswans.com.au/haier for 28 days following the completion of the competition. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 28 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

17. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

18. If a prize is unavailable, the Promoter or Haier, in their discretion, reserves the right to substitute the whole or part of a prize with a prize of equal or greater value.

19. You accept the prize entirely at your own risk and indemnify the Promoter and Haier in respect of any claim for accident, injury or property damage that may occur in connection with the prizes.

20. Haier will contact the winner in order to facilitate the delivery of the prize.

21. Delivery of the prize in major metropolitan areas of Australia serviced by Haier’s delivery drivers will be without cost to you. If you live outside of a metropolitan area, there will be a reasonable delivery charge payable to Haier that you will be advised of and must be paid to Haier prior to or on delivery. The Promoter and Haier reserves the right to vary the conditions and timing of delivery of the prize. The installation of prize is not included.

The Promoter and Haier (and their associated or affiliated companies or third parties who have licensed its brands to the Promoter or contributed to the application) (Content Owner) own or license from third parties all application content. All application content remains the sole property of the applicable Content Owner and is protected under all relevant copyright, trade mark and other applicable laws. Nothing on the application should be construed as granting any license or rights to use or distribute any application content, without the Promoter’s express written agreement or of any other applicable Content Owner.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter, Haier and their respective bodies corporate (including their officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including, without limitation, loss of opportunity, loss of profits or loss of property); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s or Haier’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any claim or offer that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter or Haier) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter or Haier; (d) any variation in prize value; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) participation in the promotion or use of a prize.
