Sydney Swans forward Tom Papley has earned himself an AFL Round 20 Goal of the Year nominations following Sydney's victory over Essendon at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.

Papley kicked four goals in the 7-point victory with his effort in the third quarter earning himself the nomination.

It was Papley's second goal of the quarter, and his third of the afternoon, cleaning up a loose ball from Nick Blakey, to dribble it through the sticks from an acute angle.

Papley is already nominated for the Goal of the Year, winning the Round 10 vote for his check-side finish against Fremantle.
