Errol Gulden arrived at the Sydney Swans as the 32nd overall pick from the 2020 AFL draft. He is a product of the QBE Sydney Swans Academy and made his senior debut against Brisbane Lions in Round 1 of the 2021 season, alongside fellow draftees Logan McDonald and Braeden Campbell. A stunning performance saw him record 19 disposals and three goals, and deservedly earned a NAB Rising Star nomination for his display. He was crowned the ALPA's Best First Year Player in 2021, while also receiving the club's Rising Star Award. The young gun enjoyed his best season yet in 2023 when he was named an All Australian, placed fourth in the Brownlow Medal - in which he polled more times than any player in club history – and won the club’s Bob Skilton Medal.
