Jesse Dattoli was recruited to the Sydney Swans with the club’s first selection in the 2024 Telstra AFL Draft. Hailing from the Northern Knights and Vic Metro, Dattoli turned heads with strong skills on both sides of his body and is strong overhead. Unfortunately, he sustained a lumbar stress reaction during the 2025 pre-season in his lower back but returned to play in the VFL competition in Round 9 before earning his AFL debut in Round 21.
