The QBE Sydney Swans Academy teams started the Northern Academy Series today in Canberra. 

It was mixed results for the Swans teams with the Opens impressive, recording a 44-point win over the Giants, whilst the Futures (U17s) and the Under 16s and Futures teams were defeated by the Giants.

The Swans will take on the Gold Coast Suns next Sunday in Brisbane for their second round of the series.
