After a convincing win on the road Damian Truslove has named his side for Round 20 with three changes ahead of the clash.

The Sydney Swans will face off against cross-town rivals the GWS Giants in a fitting prelude to Saturday night's senior game. Aaron Francis and Tom Hickey have been elevated into the AFL team with Lachlan Cabor, Tye Gander and Christian Webster entering the VFL this week.

Due to a number of injuries early in the season the Swans experienced a slow start to 2023 with a handful of close losses. Trsulove's side managed to find momentum in the second half with wins over the Sandringham Zebras, Richmond and Essendon.

Dylan Stephens will be one to watch as the Swans' leading ball winner last week followed by Matt Roberts who returned from injury to nab 30 touches and five clearances.

Mid-season draftee Jack Buller kicked four goals in Round 19 while Will Gould was also prolific on the score board with three goals.

The VFL Sydney Derby will take place at Blacktown International Sportspark on Saturday, August 5 at 1:35pm.

All the action will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
