Sydney Swans draftee Riak Andrew headlines a list of five inclusions for Sydney's VFL clash with Southport on Saturday.

Andrew will feature in his first game for the red and white, as he makes his return from an AC joint injury.

The key defender was recruited by the Swans with pick 55 in the 2024 AFL draft and recently signed a contract extension until 2027.

The first-year Swan will be joined by fellow AFL-listed players Corey Warner, Peter Ladhams and Jake Lloyd, who have been named in the VFL team after coming out of the senior side.

QBE Sydney Swans Academy athlete Max King is set to make his VFL debut, after he performed strongly for Sydney in the Coates Talent League earlier this year.

The 18-year-old has been named on the interchange bench alongside AFL-listed Blake Leidler and VFL-listed players Ben Edwards, Max Geddes and Jack Kluske.

Experienced defender Robbie Fox will miss the match in line with the league's concussion protocols after he sustained a concussion in the VFL match against Richmond in Round 11, and captain Nick Shipley also comes out of the side due to injury.

VFL-listed players Caleb MacDonald, Harry Podmore-Taylor, and Joe Harrison have been omitted.

Tall Will Green will be one to watch after his dominant performance in the ruck against Richmond two weeks ago, while young duo Dattoli and Caiden Cleary also come into the match in strong form.
