The Sydney Swans travel to South Australia to take on Port Adelaide in Round 15 this Saturday afternoon at Adelaide Oval.

Port Adelaide, fresh off a 25-point victory against Melbourne, will be eyeing three consecutive wins and the chance to level the ledger at seven wins and seven losses for the season. Their leaders were outstanding against the Demons, with captain Connor Rozee (32 disposals), Jason Horne-Francis (29 disposals), and Zac Butters (27 disposals) dominating in the midfield. Key forward Mitch Georgiades kicked a career-best seven goals.

The Power has ruled midfielder Ollie Wines (knee) and Aliir Aliir (knee) out for this weekend’s game, while Horne-Francis is available to play.

The Swans are coming off a bye week after a strong 44-point victory over Richmond in Round 13. The duo of Errol Gulden and Tom Papley will be returning from long-term injuries, while Matt Roberts comes back into the side and Joel Amartey will be back from suspension. Making way is Tom Hanily, Jake Lloyd and Corey Warner (all omitted) while Taylor Adams misses with a hamstring injury.

The last time these two sides met was at the SCG in Round 6 when Port prevailed by eight points. The Power are a tough opposition at home, and the Swans have not won against them at Adelaide Oval since 2016.

Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley praised his team’s leaders after the win against Melbourne.

"It (confidence) dropped away before the bye. But it can come back pretty quick. And you get certain things in your game that tell you, 'That's us'. When we play like that, we are a really hard team to beat,” Hinkley said.

“Sydney and us have a history of being in pretty good games more often than not. We expect nothing less.”

Hinkley went on to say Sydney appear to be a much-improved side, given this weekend’s inclusions.

"It significantly changes their side. They (Gulden and Papley) are great players. When you get top-end players back it is significant," Hinkley said.

"Injuries are important to (determining) team success. I am sure Sydney is happy to have them back ... we are not as happy."

First bounce on Saturday afternoon is at 3:45pm local / 4:15 pm AEST at Adelaide Oval.
