The Sydney Swans have made two changes to their side to take on St Kilda at Marvel Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Running defender Riley Bice comes into the team for his first senior game since Round 14, alongside Aaron Francis, who missed last week's win over Fremantle through suspension.

Speaking to Sydney Swans Media, Cox said Bice was deserving of a recall to the senior side.

"He's been in and out of the squad for a while and obviously can provide some really good run, ball use," Cox said.

"He played really well in the three and a half quarters a couple of weeks ago in the VFL before hurting his calf last week, so he's fit and ready to go."

As confirmed on Tuesday, forward duo Joel Amartey and Tom Papley will miss the match through injury.

Bice and Francis have been named on the interchange bench alongside Joel Hamling, Jack Buller and Matt Roberts, with the Swans to name their substitute one hour before the first bounce.

Peter Ladhams, Ollie Florent and Corey Warner move from the extended interchange bench to the emergency list.

Sunday's match will be Sydney's last game in Melbourne for the home-and-away season, and Cox said he was expecting a tough contest against the Saints.

"I think any time you talk through a Ross Lion coached team, they're disciplined, they're tough, uncompromising and defend really well, so we expect exactly that this Sunday," Cox said.

"It's great to be back in Melbourne, I think the support they always give us down there, we haven't played there for a while.

"We love getting back there and hopefully we can put a performance on and make them proud."

Melbourne members and fans can join the team for Captain's and Kid's Run presented by Volkswagen on Saturday. More information here.
