We are pleased to share that the Sydney Swans have once again topped the AFL supporter ladder for the 20th consecutive year, according to the 2025 annual Roy Morgan AFL club supporters survey.
With 1,297,000 supporters, we are more than 300,000 ahead of the next placed team, the Brisbane Lions, who have 954,000 supporters, followed by Collingwood with 873,000 supporters.
This achievement is a testament to the unwavering support of our loyal fans. We are so incredibly grateful for your dedication and passion for the red and white, whether from the stands at the SCG or from home.
The overall AFL supporter base has grown as well, with 9.72 million Australians now supporting an AFL club. That means that more than 40% of Australians are backing their favourite teams, and we are proud to be a part of this incredible community.
The AFL has also seen a significant increase in viewership in 2025, with more than 8.5 million Australians watching at least one AFL match on TV this year, up by more than one million compared to 2021.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to building on this success and continuing to make our fans proud. Thank you for being a part of our Swans family.
