Membership Support Specialist Patrick Perriam Frisch has been named the fourth Dean Moore Award nominee for 2025.
The news was announced in an all-staff meeting, where Perriam Frisch was acknowledged for his outstanding work behind the scenes in the club's membership department.
Speaking to Sydney Swans Media, Perriam Frisch said he was humbled to be recognised by his peers.
"It's a huge honour, there's just great people all around the place, so to think that anything that I do kind of has been recognised feels really good," Perriam Frisch said.
"Knowing Dean Moore, just hearing him speak about the club and just being kind of in awe of him as a figure of the club, to know that I've been nominated for an award in his name, it's a massive honour."
Perriam Frisch joined the Swans six years ago and has worked closely with the club's cheer squad and supporter groups in his role. He said being involved with the club's members and fans was the highlight of his journey so far.
"They're a great bunch, and it's a great energy to feed off, so in terms of staying motivated and staying excited about the footy, being able to help with the cheer squad's massive," he said.
"As I evolve and kind of learn more about the club, you can just have more of an impact on things and feel more comfortable making changes and improvements along the way."
To be presented annually at the Sydney Swans’ AFLW Club Champion Dinner, the Dean Moore Award is a peer-nominated award that will recognise a Sydney Swans staff member who has best embodied the club’s values of respect, discipline, courage, and conviction. Harry Hoysted was nominated for the award in Q1, Meg Rogers was nominated in Q2, and Liz Ponitka in Q3.
