The Sydney Swans have joined forces with IREN, with the Sydney-founded company becoming the club’s Official AI Cloud Partner for the 2026 AFL season.
The partnership brings together two organisations with deep roots in Sydney and a shared focus on long-term performance and community engagement.
IREN has grown into a global leader in AI Cloud infrastructure, deploying high-performance compute across its expanding international data centre portfolio for technology leaders including Microsoft.
Daniel Roberts, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of IREN, said the partnership reinforces the company’s ongoing commitment to its Sydney origins and local communities.
“IREN was founded in Sydney, and we’re proud to support one of the city’s most iconic sporting organisations,” Roberts said.
“As we continue to grow internationally, staying connected to the community where we started remains important to us.”
Sydney Swans CEO Matthew Pavlich welcomed IREN to the Swans family.
“It’s fantastic to have IREN on board for the 2026 season,” Pavlich said.
“With shared values of teamwork and resilience, we believe this collaboration has the makings of a successful, long-term association and we look forward to giving back to our local community through the partnership.”
The partnership will include community initiatives and engagement activities throughout the 2026 AFL season.
