Taylor Adams has declared Isaac Heeney as one of the best player's he's played alongside as he reflects on his career following his retirement announcement on Monday.
Speaking on the More than Footy Podcast, presented by Bing Lee, Adams spoke candidly about his career - playing 229 games for GWS, Collingwood, and Sydney across 14 seasons.
Having played alongside the likes of Scott Pendlebury, Jeremy Cameron, Nick Daicos, and countless other players of the same calibre, Adams insists that Heeney sits comfortably in the same category.

"He's probably one of the best players I've played with. He's definitely in the top three," Adams said.
"I'm so fortunate to have played with Brodie (Grundy) for a long time and then to go and play a few games with Isaac and see him up close.
"I'm super grateful for his friendship and I don't think we'll be separated any time soon.
While Adams reflected on the impact of Heeney on the field, he also reflected on the connection he was forged Grundy - who also arrived at Sydney for the 2024 AFL Season.Grundy and Adams had built a strong relationship at Collingwood, and the 32-year-old lauded Grundy for the cultural impact he has made on the Bloods since his arrival.
"He was a massive player in transitioning us (at Collingwood) to a strong identity, obviously on and off the field," Adams said.
"He's done the same here. He's been a huge contributor to the growth of our football program.
"I could not respect the man anymore, obviously the way that he plays out on the weekend is only part of it because his impact off the field is just as profound, and as a friend, him and his wife Rachel have been so huge for Ellie and I.Â
"Then Isaac, I actually texted (him) last night and said, 'if I came to Sydney and only met one person and it was you, it would have all been worth it', because he has just been an enormous support for us.
"Again, his fiancée Steffi and him, we've just got such a great friendship now. I Absolutely love them both."
Adams will now have some down time with his family in the coming weeks, before returning to the club where he hopes to play a part in supporting both the AFL and VFL teams as they head into the business end of the season.
