Sydney Swans forward Isaac Heeney led Sydney’s Brownlow medal tally last night as Collingwood’s Nick Daicos polled a record 47 votes to win the prestigious award in his fifth season after three consecutive podium finishes.
Heeney finished in equal sixth with 26 votes after a mid-season run of three consecutive best-on-ground performances in Rounds 12-14.
Midfield Errol Gulden finished second on the Swans leaderboard with 17 votes, including five straight three-vote games to finish the season. The midfield was ruled out from Round 2-14 of the season due to injury, but showed strong form to end his 2026 campaign second on the ladder.
Ruckman Brodie Grundy finished third on the leaderboard with 16 votes, earning two three-vote games in Round 4 and Round 10 of the season.
Swans forward Malcolm Rosas Jnr collected the first Brownlow votes of his career with three votes in Round Eight, where the electric forward starred with seven-goals in the side’s victory over Melbourne at the SCG.
Riley Bice and Braeden Campbell also opened their accounts with their first Brownlow Medal votes in Round 1 and 24 respectively.
The Swans collated a total 102 votes across the season.
