Young Sydney Swans star Isaac Heeney has gained selection for AFL.com.au’s Round 3 Team of the Week after producing a best-on-ground performance in Saturday’s win over Carlton.
Heeney was crucial to the Swans’ opening victory of the season in the Marvel Stadium clash, with the QBE Sydney Swans Academy product finishing with 26 disposals, eight marks and four goals in the bout with the Blues.
Heeney joins GWS’ Jeremy Cameron and Hawthorn’s Luke Breust on the Team of the Week’s half-forward line.
