Three key position players return and a debutant has been named among four changes to the team to face the Gold Coast at the SCG on Saturday.

Callum Sinclair, Aliir Aliir, Tom McCartin have been named to return to the side with Elijah Taylor set  for his first match of AFL.

Isaac Heeney (ankle), Josh Kennedy (knee), Hayden McLean and Sam Gray are out of the side that lost to Richmond.

Coach John Longmire said it was pleasing to welcome some height back into the side.

“Obviously we have been challenged with some of the key position areas and this week it is great to get some height and structure back,” Longmire said.

“We get some height back right across the field which helps with our structure and hopefully helps with the way we defend and the way we attack.”

Longmire said it was pleasing to be able to welcome another debutant into the side.

“He has been working really hard on his game and he gets rewarded for that,” Longmire said.

“It is great to give him an opportunity to play his first game of footy and we are really excited to see what he can do out on the SCG.”
