Sydney Swans co-captain Luke Parker shone the brightest in the Saturday’s loss to Gold Coast at the SCG.

Parker was awarded five votes from the coaches in the AFL Coaches Associaton Player of the Year award for his performance against the Suns.

The co-captain finished with 27 disposals, eight tackles and seven clearances for the match.

Gold Coast midfielder Hugh Greenwood was awarded the full ten votes for his game which included 23 disposals, 12 tackles and nine clearances.

Jarrod Witts (five votes), Brand Ellis (4 votes), Izak Rankine (4 votes) and David Swallow (2 votes) rounded out the vote getters.

Witts moves to the top of the leader board in the Carey-Bunton Medal for the best NSW bred player throughout the 2020 season.
