Western Australian midfielder Angus Sheldrick was selected with pick 18 in the 2021 AFL Draft. The 20-year-old is a competitive, contested ball-winning inside midfielder who played a leading role at Colts level with Claremont in 2021, winning the best and fairest. Sheldrick joins a growing list of West Australians at the Swans including Logan McDonald, Chad Warner and 2021 draftee Corey Warner. Sheldrick played 20 games in 2025, averaging 16 disposals and four tackles. He put pen to paper in July 2025, signing on with the Swans for a further two seasons. He will be one to watch in 2026.
