The Sydney Swans have produced one of their finest performances of the 2023 VFL season with an emphatic 78-point thumping of GWS on Saturday afternoon.

Although out of the finals race, it was a performance to be proud of for Damian Truslove's and his men, as they have battled their way through a monstrous injury toll during 2023.

The first quarter proved a tough tussle although goals to ruckman Lachlan McAndrew and Peter Ladhams ensured a five-point lead at the main break.

Lachlan Rankin's held his own with 20 disposals for the match, which included six alone in the first quarter.

The floodgates opened with 10 goals in the second term, including four to Buller, as the other team were unable to withstand the relentless raids from the Swans.

Gould is also thriving since his move in the forward line, producing some tough one-on-one contests while reaping the rewards with goals of his own.

Two of Buller's goals were courtesy of beautiful inside 50s from Hall-Kahan, while Warner asserted his dominance with countless score involvements alongside Matt Roberts and Nic Shipley.

Captain Bartholomaeus also joined his midfield contingent with some tough contested efforts, while Arnold also remain composed down back to ultimately inspire the Bloods to a 60-point lead at the main break.

QBE Sydney Swans Academy talents Lachlan Cabor and Indhi Kirk also showed promising signs, with Cabor earning a much-deserved goal in the fourth quarter.
