The Sydney Swans have made two changes for their Round 16 VFL clash with Sandringham at Trevor Barker Beach Oval on Sunday morning.

The Sydney Swans VFL team head bayside in Melbourne to Sandringham to take on the Zebras for Round 16.

In one of two changes, AFL-listed Caleb Mitchell has come back into the side and is named in the back pocket, while Tom Ryan comes into the 23.

James Hose (unavailable) and Cooper MacDonald (omitted) come out of the team who lost to the Northern Bullants.

The Swans VFL team will be looking for a swift response after last weekends loss, with the Sandringham Zebras sitting in 20^th position on the ladder with just the one victory in 2025.

Ben Paton (34 disposals) and Corey Warner (33 disposals) were good for the Swans last weekend while Will Green and Jesse Dattoli booted two goals apiece.

The VFL match against Sandringham gets underway at 11.05am.

Live streaming and broadcast

All matches in the 2025 Smithy’s VFL and rebel VFLW seasons will again be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL/W App. In a first, all VFL and VFLW matches will feature commentary this season. The Seven Network will continue to broadcast one Smithy’s VFL game live and free on Channel 7 in Victoria and on 7Plus nationally most weeks of the season.

Ticketing

Where Smithy’s VFL matches are ticketed, entry is $10 for adults, $5 for concession holders and kids under 15 are free. Some venues don't charge for entry including Tramway Oval. AFL ticketing prices apply for VFL matches played as curtain-raisers and curtain-closers to AFL matches.
