The Sydney Swans VFL team have made five changes for their Round 17 clash with North Melbourne at Tramway Oval.

Swans fans will be treated to a double header on Saturday, with the VFL team in action at 12.05pm before the AFL side kicks off at 4.15pm across the road at the SCG.

AFL-listed Robbie Fox will make his return to football after spending four weeks on the sidelines due to a concussion.

MATCH CENTRE

Tom Forrest from the Corowa Football Netball Club in regional NSW will make his VFL debut, alongside Kaiden McNamara who will also pull the red and white on in VFL for the first time.

QBE Sydney Swans Academy athlete Max King will feature for his second VFL match, after he made his debut in Sydney's Round 13 win over Southport. 

Aaron Francis returns to VFL action after he featured in the AFL side which beat St Kilda last week.

Angus Hanrahan, Tom Ryan, Willem Smit have been omitted, while Max Geddes (injured) and Peter Ladhams (AFL) also come out of the team.

The VFL match against North Melbourne gets underway at 12.05pm at Tramway Oval.

Live streaming and broadcast

All matches in the 2025 Smithy’s VFL and rebel VFLW seasons will again be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL/W App. In a first, all VFL and VFLW matches will feature commentary this season. The Seven Network will continue to broadcast one Smithy’s VFL game live and free on Channel 7 in Victoria and on 7Plus nationally most weeks of the season.

Ticketing

Where Smithy’s VFL matches are ticketed, entry is $10 for adults, $5 for concession holders and kids under 15 are free. Some venues don't charge for entry including Tramway Oval. AFL ticketing prices apply for VFL matches played as curtain-raisers and curtain-closers to AFL matches.
