HOME ELIMINATION FINAL
The Sydney Swans will begin their second-ever AFLW finals campaign this Sunday against the Western Bulldogs, after finishing sixth on the final day of the home-and-away season.
Starting the weekend in seventh position and needing a win to secure a home final, Sydney defeated Fremantle in a nail-biting 5.7. 37 - 5.6.36. The one-point victory propelled the Swans above the Bulldogs and confirmed the red and white will host their first-ever home final against the Western Bulldogs in an Elimination Final at Henson Park this Sunday, November 8, at 1:05 pm.
Fans and members can purchase their tickets for the elimination final this weekend HERE or can catch all the action on 7mate, 7plus, Kayo and Fox Footy from 1pm AEDT.
MOLLOY CLAIMS AFLW's LEADING GOALKICKER AWARD
Sydney Swans star Chloe Molloy has claimed the AFLW's Leading Goalkicker Award after a record-breaking season. Molloy kicked four goals during the Swans' win over Fremantle on Sunday to take her tally to 28 for the season.
Molloy’s third against Fremantle moved her ahead of Aine McDonagh and Jackie Parry (26 each) atop the goalkicking charts. Molloy's tally of 28 is the most in a single season, topping the 25 majors kicked by Port Adelaide's Indy Tahau last year.
