Ticketholders please use public transport and arrive early. With a sell-out crowd at the SCG and the NRL game at Allianz Stadium the Moore Park precinct will be busy. There is unlikely to be any parking available for patrons just attending the NEAFL Grand Final.

MILESTONES

LUKE PARKER – 150 GAMES
Sydney vice-captain Luke Parker is set to play his 150th match against Essendon. Since recruiting Parker with pick 40 in the 2010 National Draft, he has gone on to win a premiership (2012), the Bob Skilton Medal (2014), All-Australian honours (2016) and was named vice-captain for season 2017.   

JARRAD McVEIGH – MOST CLUB FINALS

McVeigh is set to play in his 26th final, which will take him to equal second with Jude Bolton in club history. The most finals for South Melbourne / Sydney Swans are Adam Goodes (28 finals), Jude Bolton (26 finals), Jarrad McVeigh (25 finals), Ryan O’Keefe (24 finals), Ted Richards (21 finals).

LANCE FRANKLIN – MOST GOALS IN FINALS
Franklin needs seven goals to draw level with Leigh Matthews in fourth spot for most goals kicked in VFL/AFL finals in history. The most goals kicked in finals are Gordon Coventry (111 goals for Collingwood from 31 finals), Jason Dunstall (78 goals for Hawthorn from 21 finals), Jack Titus (74 goals for Richmond from 24 finals), Leigh Matthews (72 goals for Hawthorn from 29 finals) and Lance Franklin (65 goals for Hawthorn and the Sydney Swans from 21 finals).
